There are several different types of hunger. There is the hunger of the body, the hunger of the soul, the hunger of emotions, and the hunger of intellect. When children grow up hungry they do not develop correctly. My mission is to bring awareness of these type of hungers and the problems they cause when children are neglected and are hungry. Children that are hungry as a child become deficient adults and have a hard time becoming successful members of society.

Ending of a Trek

While I’m finished this Trek, the Mission of Childhood Hunger Awareness isn’t over. I’m going to ask each and every one of you to step forward and say Hunger in America is unacceptable and to help at least one child or elderly person not just once but over and over again. Please go to you local town council meeting or city hall meeting and stand up and say this is unacceptable in out town we as a community need to fix this.

I’m not ready for this ride to be over. I still have a strong urge to continue on with the journey. However I have just as strong need to make sure my Renegade is safe at home and Star-Buck is happy eating grass. So being one day from the coast is bitter sweet.

I’m two days from the West Coast. I’ll be Bodega Bay at the Chanslor Ranch by Friday and will hitting the beach Saturday. Probably Bogeda Dunes however won’t know for sure until I get there and talk to people.
