There are several ways to secure my horses at camp, my first choice would be grazing in someone’s beautiful fenced in pasture but I think that will be rare. So my second choice is the Gallenger electric fence set. Third choice is tethering and fourth is high lining. But in case I can’t pasture or put up a electric fence I’m going to buy hobbles and tether ropes for all of them. Plus carry high line kit. Hopefully I can use the tether ropes as high line ropes. To cut down on the weight I must carry with me. I will be working intensely with my boys making sure that they understand the ropes and tethering process as well as high lining and electric fencing.
